Snowtrax is an all-in-one Ski and Snowboard Leisure, Restaurant and Retail facility situated in Christchurch, Dorset. An exciting opportunity has opened, to join a small marketing and e-commerce team within a growing company founded back in 1989! Snowtrax is a fun and friendly family owned business, thriving thanks to its huge offering of Alpine activities, delicious food and a UK Leading independent retail outlet. We’re looking for a forward thinking and motivated individual to join our family!


This fantastic opportunity benefits someone looking to start or grow their career in Marketing and Ecommerce. The Junior Marketing and Ecommerce Assistant will support the work of the Marketing Manager in ensuring the company’s marketing strategy is carried out and the brands image is communicated effectively. The role is unique due to the company’s three business arms, all of which need to be marketed through various multi-platform digital and offline avenues.

A wide mix of PR, Email Newsletters, Social media content and in-house events will be utilised for most of the businesses marketing and advertising needs. Administrative website tasks using backend content management systems will also be a key part of the “day-to-day” job role.

Training will be provided on all Snowtrax specific systems, as well as many opportunities to build on your knowledge of marketing practices!

If you have an interest in Skiing or Snowboarding and possess the right skills – Snowtrax is the place for you!

Main Activities


  • Research relevant local and national publications and build relations with editors
  • Create content for press releases
  • Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results
  • Research opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
  • Social Media activity



  • Support the weekly maintenance of the company’s websites
  • Updating Product Descriptions and Activity information
  • Create unique content for the company’s websites
  • Respond to online customer questions via review platforms and Social Media


Essential Skills and Knowledge

A passion for Marketing/PR

Education A Levels+ (Degree or working towards a Degree preferred)

Strong knowledge of Social Media

Knowledge of current SEO techniques

Highly organised and self-motivated

Strong command of the English language, written and verbal

Fun, hard-working with a fine eye for detail


Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Good communication skills

Ability to drive (as our office isn’t accessible from public transport)
