Recreational Snowboarding

GENERAL INFORMATION

Once you have achieved the Recreational Standard you are able to come & use our slopes unsupervised. Through recreational sessions you can really develop your technique & practice the skills you have learnt in our lessons.

Snowboarders who regularly snowboard recreationaly find their fitness levels & skills improve dramatically. Save £££’s with one off our lift passes, for a one of fee you get unlimited access to the slopes!

 

ABILITY LEVELS

For safety reasons we cannot allow inexperienced snowboarders on the slopes without guidance from one of our qualified instructors.

If you do not meet the required recreational standard (see below) then you must book lessons, please contact us to discuss the various options.

Required Recreational Standard

1) Able to turn on both heel & toe edge.

2) Able to break & stop.

3) Able to do all of the above, use a lift safely and perform linked turns.

For the health & safety of all of our customers, members of the public are not permitted to teach others at the centre. All inexperienced snowboarders must book lessons with one of our trained instructors.

*Please note our main slope will be closed on the following dates and times:

MAIN SLOPE CLOSED ON SATURDAY 20th OCTOBER 1PM UNTIL 10PM

 

Usual Recreational Sessions:

Monday to Friday
10.00am – 9.45pm – (please note below slope closures on Wednesdays!)

Saturday 

1.00pm – 10pm – (note restricted times below!)

Sunday

10am – 10pm – (note restricted times below!)

Due to Race Club and childrens classes THE MAIN SLOPE IS CLOSED FOR RECREATIONAL USE AS FOLLOWS:

Wednesdays 5.30pm -9pm

– Saturdays 8.30am until 1.00PM and 5pm until 6.30pm 

– Sundays 9am until 10.00am (winter months 12.30pm)

Restricted slope space:

Tuesday:
(ramps and rails session from 6.30pm until 9.30pm, limited space on the slopes)

Saturday
Slope open for  recreational use from 1pm (ramps and rails session from 6.30pm until 9.30pm, limited space on the slopes)

Sunday
(ramps and rails session from 6.30pm until 9.30pm, limited space on the slopes)
